From Auckland, travel over the Bombay Hills via the Southern Motorway, then follow S.H.2. Travel through Maramarua, Ngatea, Paeroa, and the Karangahake Gorge. Exit the Karangahake gorge. Turn right onto Waitawheta Road (over the bridge - Owharoa Falls turn-off). Travel 500m up the hill then turn a sharp left onto Pukekauri Road. The Waihi Waterlily Gardens are 4.4km along Pukekauri Road on the left.

From Tauranga, travel via S.H.2 through Bethlehem, Katikati and the Athenree Gorge. Exit the Gorge and turn left onto Old Tauranga Road. At the junction (approx. 7km further), travel straight, onto Pukekauri Road. You'll find the Waihi Waterlily Gardens 2.5km along the road on the right.

From Hamilton, take S.H 26 towards Coromandel Peninsula, through Morrinsville and Te Aroha. At Paeroa, turn right onto State Highway 2, and travel through the Karangahake Gorge. Exit the Karangahake gorge. Turn right onto Waitawheta Road (over bridge - Owharoa Falls turn-off). Travel 500m up the hill then turn a sharp left onto Pukekauri Road. The Waihi Waterlily Gardensardens 4.4km along Pukekauri Road on the left.

From the eastern coast of the Coromandel Peninsula travel south through the main centres of Whitianga, Tairua and Whangamata to Waihi (Kenny St). Continue through the junction, and turn left onto Victoria St. As you leave Waihi township behind, Victoria St merges into Frankton Rd. Turn first right onto Pukekauri Road (approximately 4km along Frankton Road). You'll find the Waihi Waterlily Gardens 2.5 km along Pukekauri Road on the right.
