The Waihi Waterlily Gardens have captivated imaginations, stimulated senses, and provided enchanting water garden experiences for more than fifty years. Visitors from every corner of the globe have left footprints beneath giant flora, on grassy knolls, and next to the natural waterways that run through this magnificent fifteen acre attraction. Many return to nourish the seeds they'd planted during past visits: the seeds of fond memories.

And throughout the decades the gardens changed: The trees grew taller, and the trunks grew character; waterlily varieties diversified; a casual campsite became a formal front lawn; a quaint building became a garden cafe; and the property welcomed many couples who requested the Waihi Waterlily Gardens be their venue for a wedding ceremony, wedding reception, birthday celebration, or intimate get-together with friends and family.

The Waihi Waterlily Gardens welcome garden and cafe visitors daily from Labour Weekend until Easter, and the gardens now feature luxury accommodation in private garden cottages, so accommodation guests can enjoy the magic of the Waihi Waterlily Gardens four seasons every year, day and night. Self contained accommodation, bed and breakfast or fully catered cottage stays are offered in this beautiful Coromandel environment, just 5 minutes from heritage trails of the Karangahake Gorge, 5 minutes from Waihi, and 10 minutes from Waihi Beach.
